Trans Am — professional

XGT

The longest-running professional road racing series in North America, now in its 60th season. XGT runs purpose-built cars against pre-2016 FIA GT3 machinery on a spec Pirelli P Zero.

The seat came through a sponsorship package — an arrive-and-drive program with Jefferson Racing, whose tube-chassis Mustang it is. Eight starts in 2024, third in Western Championship points, and Rookie of the Year.

The driver

Tim Rankin

Started in drag racing in the late eighties — street cars through to a top alcohol dragster running 270+ mph in the quarter mile.

Tried road racing in 2003 and never went back. Bondurant in 2007, then time trials and wheel-to-wheel up through SCCA and NASA.

Turned professional in Trans Am in 2023 and won the first start — Spring Mountain, October 2023.

Your mark on the car, the transporter and the crew across a full season — the Trans Am Western Championship, every NASA event, and Wilwood Corvette Challenge high-performance track days with the C5. Trans Am runs Sonoma, Laguna Seca and Circuit of the Americas; both Trans Am rounds and NASA weekends stream live on YouTube, so the audience is not limited to who is standing in the paddock. The transporter carries your branding every mile in between, and everything we shoot — onboard, garage, grid — goes out with your name on it.

Speed and Feed

A day at the track for your team and your clients — and the part they will still be talking about afterwards: laps of the circuit in a track-prepped C8 Z06. Cars running, food laid on, paddock access, and nothing for you to organise. It is the rare corporate day out nobody has already been to, and it puts your people in the car rather than behind a rope.

Meet and greet

The car and the crew at your launch, showroom, trade show or customer event. A race car draws a crowd on its own; the conversations it starts are the point. We handle transport and setup — you decide where it parks and who you want in front of it.

Clean structure

This is an advertising and marketing agreement, not a donation. Contracted, invoiced, and documented so your finance team can treat it like any other marketing line — and so your accountant has what they need to categorise it properly.

Away from the track, the driver is an enterprise architect leading a team that performs security audits, architecture review, implementation and analysis across IT infrastructure — the work organisations buy when getting it wrong is not survivable.

If your company already spends on that, part of a sponsorship can come back to you as work — an assessment of your infrastructure against current standards, written findings, and a prioritised remediation plan. Scope agreed up front and delivered on a schedule that doesn't depend on the race calendar.

That is the difference between a logo on a fender and a line item your CTO signs off on alongside your CMO. One budget, two returns.
